Born in Lecce on 10 April 1972, Fabio  graduated in 2001 in Classical Studies from the Università degli Studi di Lecce (now Università del Salento) with a dissertation on Archaeological Survey of Ancient Italy with Professor M. Guaitoli. He then went on to get his post graduate degree in Classical Archaeology from the School of Specialisation in Classical and Medieval Archaeology at the same university. He has over twenty years of experience working on archaeological excavations both in Italy and abroad. He is not only designs projects, but also proficient in GIS and carries out graphic as well as topographical  surveys.
