Over the years, Akra Iapygia has worked on many ‘non-archaeological’worksites. The constant collaboration of professional archaeologists on public works or private development projects is often required by the Archaeological Board where excavating will be going on. Directing an archaeological watching program, it’s a very delicate task which requires qualified archaeologists to identify and document archaeological remains (where present) without delaying project completion.
